Notes |
George C. Williston, is down from the Shay's Rebellion era soldier Anson Williston of Springfeild branch. He and another cousin, Horace, were the first to test their YDNA for this family, and prove the ancestor Joesph Williston II (1701-1747). Between them, they showed us that the Springfield family was unique to the other Williston families of Boston, Rhode Island and North Carolina of Colonial USA. |
